Clustered Home Concept
Mustang Court Commons is the flagship property in our first Living Unlimited Clustered Housing project. Single family homes are familiar. They are just like the homes many children with disabilities grow up in. The Living Unlimited Clustered Housing model imagines a group of five to ten typical suburban houses within walking distance of one another, where residents can visit one another’s homes, make lasting friendships, share resources and be fully integrated within the larger community. Mustang Court Commons (MCC) will be the first property in this cluster and the “anchor” property to the nearby cluster of associated homes.
It is an approximately 5.5 acre property in eastern Petaluma with extra amenities, such as large expansive spaces for leisure activities, vocational pursuits, modest livestock and an edible garden for horticulture enjoyment and a sustainable food source. It will be a wonderful place for all; both the on-site residents and the residents in the nearby cluster of associated homes. Not only is it a great property, it is also within walking distance of the Petaluma campus of Santa Rosa Junior College, Safeway, Starbucks and a myriad of other shops. Sonoma State University is just 6 miles, or a 10 minute drive away.
